People who really know me (mostly my family), know that I adore Tony Bennett. He is truly a gifted artist (both as a performer and painter) and has withstood the test of time. He is a legend, and I love him. He's classy and chill. The epitome of cool. He reminds me of what true talent and artistry is all about. For the last two years, I've been trying to go to a concert. The first year, I had no money and no one to go with. The second year, I got hit by a car and was in recovery. The third time really is the charm! I'm going to see Tony Bennett with the San Francisco Jazz over Memorial Day weekend! I gulped a little when I bought the tickets (it's the most I've ever spent on a concert), but it will be worth it. It's like the stars aligned for this one glorious weekend...and this time, I was in the center of the alignment. I've never been there, although I've always wanted to go, but I can't imagine a better reason to go. I'm coming Antonio Benedetto, and I'm leaving my heart in San Francisco with you!
